Perform technical work consistent with the agency’s strategic IT direction.Work independently and serve as senior technical consultant to other team members to support client business applications.Work with users to develop enhancements and new applications.Work with help desk to maintain current applications.Close-out and Handover: Ensuring that the project is properly closed out and handed over to the relevant stakeholders, including conducting post project reviews to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.Reporting and Documentation: Preparing regular progress reports and other project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, change logs, and status reports.Change Management: Managing project changes and ensuring that all changes are documented and approved by relevant stakeholders.Schedule Management: Developing and managing project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring that the project stays on schedule.Budget Management: Developing and managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that the project stays within budgetary constraints.Quality Assurance: Ensuring that the project meets all relevant quality standards and that all deliverables meet the expectations of stakeholders.Resource Management: Allocating project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Stakeholder Management: Communicating effectively with stakeholders and managing their expectations throughout the project lifecycle.Risk Management: Identifying potential project risks and developing risk mitigation plans to minimize the impact of these risks on the project's timeline, budget, and scope.Project Planning: Developing project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, and ensuring that the project objectives are clearly defined and aligned with the overall business strategy. Operates equipment, such as plotters, printers, copiers and scanners.Assists with preparing more complex reports. Prepares basic reports related to projects, work plans, equipment, assets and budgets.Performs data entry in the departmental engineering database.Assists in setting up work orders and requisition entries.
